Elizabeth's Story
Life
What a life I have led. I served in the United States Navy from 1978 until 1982. I married during this time and had two boys. Served with the Department of Defense overseas until 1988 and then returned to El Paso, Texas. I divorced upon my return to Texas. Once in Texas I signed on with the Department of the Treasury and became a Customs Inspector. I met my present husband, who was in the Army at that time, and followed him to Fort Carson Colorado, where my daughter was born, and then to Seattle Washington. school. my husband accepted a job in Beaumont Texas in 2002 and I transferred to Lamar University. I am not a registered nurse with specialization in forensics. I work in a critical care setting (Neuro, Med, Cardio ICU's and the ER)at CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Beaumont.
Military
I served at Dam Neck in Virginia Beach Virginia from 1978 to 1982. I started in the Admin office running guard mail then moved into Programmer Training, onto Command Security, and ended up in the Legal Department running Captain's Masts for the base. I was a frocked E-6 upon my discharge in 1982.
