Elizabeth's Story
After graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance, I started working at the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Management Service. After 25 years, I retired early to take care of my 87 year old mom. My last position was as a Director with responsibility for the development and operations of an Internet based payment system. I was blessed with a wonderful staff and an amazing view of the Tidal Basin from my office!.
I got married in June 2013 to my best friend, George Bromley. Most of our friends said, "it's about time!"

vel, military history, foreign languages, prison ministry, and staying up late to write (oh, and sleeping in!).
In the past few years I've been able to cross several items off of my "bucket list." I went skydiving (loved it, loved it, loved it!); traveled to Israel where I was baptized in the Jordan River; toured Petra in Jordan; climbed Mt. Sinai in Egypt; and took a flight in a WWII era B-25 Mitchell bomber!
Still to do - get my pilot's license; complete a HALO (high altitude low opening) Jump; fly in a Tiger Moth in England; see the pyramids; and participate in an archaeological dig.
