Aah, what to say! UCD grad, mother to a 12 year old(yeah, yeah, late start..)happily single(at least most of the time)work as a free lance designer/artist(sure...steady employment would be great but at this point, I'm unwilling to play politics anymore). Age has become a blessing - freeing might be the best choice of words. More grounded, certainly in touch with my 'inner self'(and who really cares?), not willing to put myself thru all the nonsense I did in my 20's or 30's. Guess you could say I'm somewhat set in my ways, still love a good adventure, always have a bag packed, the fact that I live with a 12 year old boy keeps me in shape- yes I do have many a grey hair growing, I have succumbed to buying those 'reading glasses' at the drugstore, the idea of having to 'clean up' for a date is borderline repulsive, I h...Expand for more
aven't stepped foot into a mall in over 3 years(thank god for the internet)and even buy my underwear and makeup on line. It's not that I turned into some kind of recluse, I guess I just realized that "WHY DO I HAVE TO TRY SO HARD, THEY DON'T?" Am I right or not? That self defining moment came, hit me, and left. I took the easier and softer approach and am forever grateful. Life is still great, full of challenges, lots of interesting people, and I'm good with it! We all find our way, and hopefully we're following OUR OWN drummer. For those who know me or knew me, and went to school with me or even don't know me(what the heck!), I'd like to reconnect in some way - be - no nonsense, no pretense, no b.s.(know what I mean?) I'm getting to old for it and don't have the patience. But I'll always have it for a friend.
