Life
I attended 2nd-6th grades at Adeline Gray from 1963-68, transferring from Lowell and back to Lowell to complete 7th and 8th grades (1969-70). I lived south of the I-10 freeway off 7th Avenue on West Magnolia Street. I graduated from Phoenix Union on June 7, 1973 and moved to Houston to attend Texas Southern University. ere I stayed for 18 years, married, and had a son. My family and I briefly lived in a couple of other communities in Texas before we moved to the Denver, Colorado area, where we've lived for 7 years. I haven't been back to Phoenix since my mother moved to Heaven in 1984. My younger sister's been back on many occasions and tells me I wouldn't know Phoenix after having been away for so long.
