Ellen's Story
David and I just celebrated our 8th Anniversary on New Year's Eve. We have a blended family of 16 (I had 9, he has 7) children and 26 grand children. We have also welcomed more that a dozen Foreign Exchange Students from all over the world into our home. We live at the beach in St. Augustine, Fl. We are dancers and almost 6 years ago we became dance instructors. We teach dancing at the First Coast Technical College and we do dance exhibitions at local events. We started a monthly Community Dance here, called Let's Dance St. Augustine, almost 5 years ago and have had as many as 250 people in attendance. Recently, we opened the newspaper and found a half page article, and picture, about us entitled "Dancing Through Life". It was a great article and made us feel like celebrities. lives up that way. Two of his children live in South Florida, 3 in New Jersey, 1 in New York and 1 in California. We took a trip out there in 2005. Two of my children live in Jacksonville, Fl. and the rest are here in St. Augustine. My oldest grand son graduated from high school in 2007 and is in college. The next one graduated last June and is in college in South Fl. on an athletic scholarship. We meet the nicest people on the dance floor and we recommend dancing to everyone. It keeps you young, healthy, in good shape and it is almost the most fun thing anyone could do. And, by the way, we can teach anyone to dance! So if you ever get down our way and want to learn to dance, give us a call. If you are already a dancer, join us on the dance floor.
