Life
Greetings! After two years at Cal-Poly SLO I recieved an Associate Degree in Ornamental Horticulture and then worked in the Nursery (plants) business for a few years! I married to a guy named Foley (1981) a reporter from the San Jose Mercury News. We had four kids and I stayed home for about 10years.!!
Went back into the workforce (ie gov't tax payer)first in Landscape Maintenance then for Dept. of Agriculture,doing pesticide testing (fun!). Transfered over to Parks and Rec Dept.in Santa Clara County 97'. I was at Coyote Lake Park for about three years. Worked at Ed Levin County Park off Calaveras Rd. in Milpitas for about 4 years where I supervise (kinda like rasing kids) a staff...Expand for more
of seven, 1500 acres of Park land and a budget of about $250,000 to make all work! Currently with Santa Clara Valley Water District.
I divored in 2001, three of the four kids are off to college and now I get to have some hobbies again! I have 12 acres of Calif. Bleinheim apricots in Gilroy and an 1861 farm house with lots of projects!
My brother Mark, Leland 75' still lives on my grandfathers property across the creek from Leland! Brother Luke Leland 71' went to Cal-Poly as a soils major and now lives and works in the City of San Luis Obispo.
