Ellen's Story
Let's be honest here, Mather was not one of my bright and shining periods of life.That said, I do have some fond memories, and still count my high school BFF as my BFF.
I guess the closer I get to 50 (there, I said it), the more fondly I remember my adolescence, and the more I realize how young we all were.
My life in a nutshell:
Left Mather after a fight with Carl Myrent. Was lucky enough to transfer to Metro. Graduated. Went to College, left college before graduating. Ended up working at the college I attended....My first day of work there was Sept.11, 2001. I should've taken that as an indication of things to come.....but it ...Expand for more
was through that job that I learned that I really hate doing PR. Throughout entire time played music at bars, clubs, coffee houses, colleges, etc. Toured US and Europe. Had a lot of fun. Spent a lot of money, made some too. Spent that. Somewhere along this line I had the revelation..."crap, I'm getting older and have no money.....what career will make up for my lack of earning?" Simultaneous to my revelation Missy Perez re-enters my life, and say's, "Hey, I'm doing real estate, and making tons of money. Want to do that with me?" How could I refuse? So, here I am, a middle-aged female Jewish cliche, I'm a Realtor, and damn happy.
