While a junior in HS, I took all the interior design classes offered at the local JC. In my senior year, I spent 2 months in Stuttgart, Germany. Thereafter, I moved to the Monterey Bay Peninsula for a few years before moving to Frankfurt, Germany where I lived 7 yrs. I worked FT for the U.S. Government while attending night school at the University of Maryland - European Division. Three yrs later, I earned a BS in Business Mgmt w/a dual minor in Government & European Art History. I enjoyed the two full-time schedules (work & school) and party hardied too! During semester breaks, I visited relatives in The Netherlands or had fun in Amsterdam. I embraced the German mindset: Work hard and play hard. I also enjoy traveling immensely. Whether backpacking through Europe (3 months in '82), German/Italian/Swiss Alps, Mallorca, Tunisa (Africa) and Canary Islands or staying at 5-star luxury hotels (Celebrity's penthouse suites or 1st class travel) -- all is good. I scaled Stromboli (an active volcano north of Sicily) -- enjoy meeting people of diverse cultural background and political thought. Engaging in political discussion is my achilles heel, since I am a "political junkie" :) Not sitting still, I did a Masters in Marketing in San Francisco while employed FT for a major computer company in Silicon Valley eventually retiring when I was 44 -- I do not intend to "work" at least for a living.
