Elree's Story
Life
I live in Fort Worth TX with my 16 yr old daughter. I'm an insurance agent. I've been divorced for 8 years after a marriage of 17. Yeah, yeah, I know. (Elree, you left him after 17 years??) YESSS!! I did. Best thing I ever did!! I am single and Happy with my life.
I'm not originally from the Lou but from Detroit and Ann Arbor Michigan. I didn't fit in quite right in the STL in the beginning.
Didn't understand the language and your ways much, (or the way you put sugar on "EVERYTHING" beans, rice, spaghetti!! Who eats like this??) but grew to love it here, so here I stayed!!
Would welcome a line from old (I mean "prior") classmates. Sorry about that. Doesn't matter if we knew each other or not.

School
Graduated July 1979. The year of the longest teacher's strike ever!! Does anyone else remember that?? Went to school after hours and on Saturdays and during the summer.

kets Marching Band all 4 years under Mr Overby, Mr Griffin and Mr Guzman. You all really kept me going. You were like my family and I was proud to be a part of it. I remember you all. Yep, it's me, Little Elree.
College
After BHS, went to college at Southeast MO State U. Majored in Business Administration and continued to play in marching, jazz, and concert band. Performed at Bush Stadium for the Cards!! In my last year, I took a really strange turn and became a cheerleader instead! I don't know. It was crazy! I just wanted to. Go figure.
Workplace
Now I'm a Licensed Auto, Home, Life, and Health Insurance Agent. I talk non-stop on the phone all day long selling insurance and making friends by phone. I don't stop talking now until they give me their credit card number! I know! I used to be so quiet. What happened to me? Guess I was a late bloomer. Who knows.
Military
MILITARY??? ME??? OOOHHH NOOOO!! THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER HAVE WORKED! I SALUTE ALL OF YOU WHO DO SO MUCH FOR OUR COUNTRY THOUGH!! THANKS!!
