Elvin's Story
Occupation: VP of a Pharmacetical firm.
Married/Single: Married
Children: 2 boys
Hobbies: Motorcycles and sports cars of all kinds - this is an oxymoron for almost anyone associated with emergency medicine but that¿s typical for me. My collection consists of a custom bagger when I hang with the older crowed and a red Ducati 1098 when I want roll with the kids. I enjoy coaching and watching my kids in league sports, college sports in general, and a relatively new phenomena for me known as mmo's.
Passions: Football, golf, family travel, and my work. "Do something you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life"
Political Stance: not a chance¿unless a good single malt scotch is involved. I will say that I am NOT excited about any candidate in 2008.
Religion: Christian
Favorite Ice Cream: I never outgrew CHOCOLATE.
Short History: Born in NY but moved with parents to FL when I was 5 so I consider myself a cracker. Played sandlot football one sunday afternoon when an accident ruptured my spleen at 19. That was the catalyst for the beginning of a fascination with medicine. Still love the sport though.

ore intense there. I am a gym rat as well. They are my extended family. It's all about health/wellness.
Fun-Facts:
- I still like to surf but I don't look as cool doing it. eh, so what!
- Best vacation was on the Royal Caribbean "Freedom of the Sea" which had a huge contingency from Brazil. Thongs everywhere. Wife kept slapping and I just kept gawking. My two boys got a real education hanging out at the wave ride as girls lost tops and bottoms falling off the surfboards. We finally figured out why they hung out there morning noon and night and dad joined them.
- I like action movies, comedy and other genre. Favorite series is "The God Father" I know, typical! Too many movies to say which is favorite. Had to watch Pulp fiction twice to finally appreciate it.
- Best golf score was 88, nothing to brag about. I suck at it but it still pulls me back in.
- Favorite Bike Ducati "Desmo" and Indian "Chief" classic. Both too expensive for my budget but I love to see them.
- I go to bike week every year. As raucous as that event is, I have met more docs and lawyers there than any other single event. Go figure.
- I use to like going to the gym until large screen tv's and video games cut in last year. I have to blame it on something!
