Elwood's Story
After high school I was drafted into the United States Marine Corps. I served a tour of duty in Viet Nam specializing in field communications. I attended East Carolina University and Cuyahoga Community College as a Pre-Engineering major. I moved to the Washington D.C. area in 1972 to accept a position at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Since then I have held positions with Bendix Corp., RCA Corp, Washington Metro Transit Auth. ,Pfizer Corp., and recently retired from Verizon Corp. I have worked mainly in ...Expand for more
the area of communications with brief a stint in Medical Diagnostic Imaging. I've held positions in research and development, customer service, and manufacturing. My job capacities have included technician, engineer, instructor and manager. I have been married since 1992 to Patricia Ann Weston originally of Greenville, South Carolina. We have no children. My outside interests include Amateur Radio, astronomy, coin collecting, and photography.
