Emile Lewis's Story

Life !!!!! UPDATE: as of Fall 2010 i am working full time in State College, PA - I also Got Married in the Fall of 2009 !!!! Lets see, where to start…. Well, I am now a semi-retired IT Professional who has gone from building Hot-Rod PC's to Building mini-choppers to assisting in the running of an outdoor park.. a bit of a difference from microchips & Hard-Drives to Plasma Cutters & Welders and then to Dirt Bikes & Quads!!! but I blame it on a pre-mature mid-life crises or as I like to call it, a “quarter-life” crises (seeing as I was only 25 years old). Anyway, I retired from the IT industry due to a major disability resulting from a car wreak in late 2001. (T-Boned by a Tractor-Trailer). Yea, it was fun... It was three months before I could walk. Over two years to regain full use of my right hand/arm. And I spent over six months in speech therapy learning how to talk again. As you can imagine, a good time was had by all (sarcasm dripping from the keyboard) well, in late 2004 I decided to return to part time work building various items in a machine shop that I have access to. I did it to avert the massive boredom that I was suffering and also as a source of additional funding for my other interests. My current hobbies and interests include walking (its amazing what you miss when you cant do it), tinkering with anything electronic, Video Editing, Photography, Automotive Power System, extreme engineering, motorcycle & small engine vehicles including unconventional power plants. I am currently working part time on the weekends at a Outdoor Park for ATV's and Dirt Bikes... I find that working here helps with keeping me fit and also helps with my cognitive fun...Expand for more
ctions... It also helps keep me from being bored out of mind as well as providing me with extra money for beer & Twinkies!!! Well, aside from work, I am also keeping myself busy working on and around my house... Chopping & stacking firewood... Wiring the house with more computer power then NASA!!! ^_^ Ect.... Well, if anybody remembers me from Middle/High School, I would love to hear from you!!! However, remember that I do have brain damage and my memory has more holes in it the a slice of Swiss Cheese!!! so I ask for some forgiveness if it takes a little while for me to get back to you as I am either trying to remember who you are, or I just forgot to reply ( this happen a lot, sorry ^_^ ) - Untill next time, remember the difference between Genius and Insanity is merely the context in which it is taken... School Well, started at West Meade Elementary, then Menwith Hill Middle School, and Graduated Lakenheath American High School in 1997. I lived in the Dormitory (Building 872) for the three years that I attended Lakenheath. I had some nice teachers at all three schools, but the one I would do again is Lakenheath.
