Emily's Story
Its been a while since I updated my story, but its about time.
I am married to my soulmate (almost 10 years!), and we have three wonderful kids: Sheridan (9), Keoni (7), and Harmony (5). Life is good serving God at the top of the world!
My family and I live in Barrow, Alaska, where hundreds of miles of unadulterated snowy tundra seperate us from the rest of the world. No roads in, no roads out...yes, the Arctic. It has been as cold as 83 degrees below zero at its coldest, but averages 40 below on a usual winters day.

ere is learning to live without a lot of conveniences, but the perks outweigh it all. We live surrounded by the Inupiat culture(Eskimo), and our children are learning the language and dances along with their peers. There is a sense of community/family here in this village like no other.
I am grateful that I get to see wildlife like polar bears and snowy owls, walruses and seals in my own backyard. Where else in the world!!
