Emily's Story
School
Aberdeen Central High School-- Lots of found memories that I wouldn't trade for anything. Parties, Tommy's Lake Cabin, the wrestling team, indoor soccer, hockey games, homecoming.....
And of course, I will always have a special place in my heart for:
Erin Gerdes (You were my best friend and truly an amazing women- I love my Erin and have fun in Ireland!) and Jarod Mather (I am so glad that you were my first love. You are such a wonderful guy, always have been! Good luck in all that you do!)...
College
Western Kentucky University- They weren't kidding when they said "College is the best years of your life." Fraternity parties, my sisters and the Golden Roses, summer in Europe, 7 days without sleep during finals (thank God for caffiene and cigarettes!), road trips and Fall breaks in Panama....
I have had such a awesome experince in school. I love my teachers (especially Murphdog in the gov't department) and my majors (history and gov't). I love my sisters in Chi Omega and all the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon and Farmhouse. At no other school would I have gotten to do and see so much.
*** Real quick before I say my bit about WKU: George Mason University:
The stay was short, the memories numerous: Becca, Queenette, Ink, Tiny, Ryan, Dave, Duck, Justin--you all kept me sane. I miss my Marines and will never forget my first Marine Core Ball nore the countless nights when Becca and I crammed the six of you in our timy dorm room so you didn't have to drive back to the barracks. Just wish our time together could have lasted a bit longer...
Now on to Western Kentucky Unersity:
There is not nearly enough space to describe all of those who I love and all of the memories I gain at WKU. Every day was a wonderful new experience...Expand for more
for me, every moment precious. I will certainly always hold a special place in my heart for my sisters in Chi Omega and especially the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Being your sweetheart was truly an honor. Mudd, Jamie, Jessica, Amanda, Cindall, Brandy, Elizabeth, and first roomie Eva-- you girls are the best pose in the whole wide world. We will always fall breaks, homecomings, crush dances, big trucks, midget elves, giant candy canes, Brew Co.... Ben Sparks, you are the reason I am were I am today. It was your support and understanding which kept me at Western. I owe much of my happiness today to you and will never forget what we had (fall break tatoos, lavaleers, motorcycles, Callie the dog). You know me better than I know myself and I am always here if you need me. And of course Paul Krivanec. You are my number one man. I love you so much. You are so sweet and so good to me. You are the only man I know thar can put up with my moody ass, and I thank you for that. We have shared so much together already (fall break, Friends/Sex and the City/Charmed marathones, late night talks, more games of poker than I can scarcely recall, and lots of other firsts)...
And last but certainly not least, to Chad Aull- You are the best big brother any girl could ever have (But I love you too Blakie). You are the reason I pledged and because of you, so many doors were opened for me. Good luck in all you do and don't forget than when you are 40 and in the Whitehouse, I am gonna be your First Lady...
If college truly is the best part of your life then I can say honestly I will look back with few regrets, as I feel truly bless and utterly fufilled by my experieces.
