Emily's Story
Life
After graduating I was in the Woman Marines for 4 yrs and loved it. I got married to a nice man who I was with for 10 years and we have 1 son name Stephen who is now 44 who also was in the Marines for 6 yrs as his parents. He did works here at NYU as a Sgt in security but is now a New York City policeman.. I lived in California for 10 yrs then my son and I relocated to Brooklyn NY where I have been for 39 yrs. I also had another son Greg who is now 38 and his son, my grandson is 20 yrs old. I am working at New York University for 28 yrs as an administrator in student loans and retired September 6, 2013.. I have had 8 surgerys in the past 13 yrs, almost feel like the Bionic Woman.
I was on my 1st cruise Aug 8 for 7 days and then came to Yatesboro for my 64th Birthday 9/14/08. Had a great time with my classmates Beth Colton, Virginia Bell, Arlene Walker, Dick Whiteman and Jimmy Murray and Ken Prugh and Flora Davidson. All alway welcome me.
After I retired I went on a 9 day cruise out of New York. Went to Puerto Rico, St Thomas in the Virgin Islands and The Grank Turk Islands.
I take walks in the morning a meet a friend for breakfast 2-3 times a week. I still enjoy watching the NFL and reading.
