Emily's Story
Life
I have been married for 30 + years. We had two sons that were killed in an accident back in the mid-1980s. So, my husband and I have instead pursued our professional careers. We have a small ranch in Crook County Wyoming but I spend the majority of my time these days in Colorado where I work for the Federal Service, based out of Denver. I spend a lot of time traveling so I don't get to see our Wyoming homestead that often. My husband...Expand for more
is a retiered firefighter and 15 years my senior. So, I'm the one doing the 9 to 5 these days. While life has not been easy, it has been good.
School
High school for me was nothing but a lesson in prolonged frustration and a sincere waste of time. Had I known then what I know now, I would have left much sooner to pursue my life and my future on my own terms. You just can't force a round peg into a square hole. You get too many bruises!
