Emily's Story
Life
I graduated from ETSU in spring 1990. Then, I began teaching at Happy Valley High School. I taught Spanish and Mathematics, although I primarily taught Spanish. I was there until May 1998. At that time I made the decision to stay home as a full time mom. I have 3 children. The oldest, Britney, was born in May 1987. Katherine was born in October 1997 and Nathan came along in March 1999. eturned to Happy Valley to teach geometry and advanced math. What a change from teaching Spanish! The next year I went to EHS to teach Spanish. I am currently still at EHS.
I was married soon after highschool, but divorced a few years later. I remarried a couple years after that. My current husband is a CWI (welding inspector). He is from Kingsport and graduated from Sullivan Central.
So I'm still in Elizabethton - next door to where I grew up!
