Eric's Story
Life
1979 - 1980 University Of Iowa.
1980 - 1982 Hamilton Technical College.
1981 - Married Marjorie Milburn from Bettendorf, worked Per Mar Security as an Alarm Technician.
1983 - First Son born - Joshua.
1984 - Daughter born - Tera, moved to Salt Lake City Utah. Worked breifly as a cable TV installer then hired on with ADT Security Systems, as an Installer.
1985 - Son J.J. born. (I finaly figured out what was causing that problem.) Changed companies yet again...Centralarm as what else?..an Alarm Installer.
1989 - Centralarm bought by Honeywell Protection Services.
1990 - Bought first house in Kearns Utah.
1991 - Finally got my Pilot's License.
1994 - Became Systems Specialist - Installing Alarm Automation Systems at Central Stations and doing computer networking all around the country. Based in Minneapolis, MN.
1996 - Divorced. (All the traveling takes its toll).
1998 - Moved to Raleigh, NC. to take a position as a Field IT Support Specialist for Entergy Security. (More travel).
1999 - Entergy bought by ADT Security Systems....promptly...Expand for more
moved to Easley, SC. where girlfriend was living. Began work as a Systems Engineer for Pinnacle Technologies, Inc. (We do digital mugshot systems for law enforcement.) Remarried in October 1999 to Brenda Chase. Currently still working at PTI in Greenville South Carolina, managing systems and projects in Pennsylvania. I'm in PA. a couple times a month. Wife and I are big supporters of live music, especially local bands. I still play guitar, Brenda sings. We do acoustic sets for friends and at parties. Got a couple cats and dogs, fish in the pond...a glass of sweet tea, my guitar, and my woman belting out some Bonnie Raitt on the porch...Damn, Life is Good!
2005 - Not much changed. Still very happily married. Pinnacle Technologies became DataWorks Plus. No longer spending so much time in PA. Instead working as Project Manager for another product, Digital CrimeScene which is software used to manage images from Crime Scenes. Also started up Skyryder Productions, which specializes in Event Videography (Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Events, etc.) Life is still damn good...
