Eric's Story
School
I split my high school time between NT and Williamsville but I still consider NT
more of "home" since that's where I grew up attending Spruce and Reszel. I left after 10th grade and attended Williamsville South for my last two years.
In NT I lived on Roberts Dr and hung out with Jeff Mix, Steve Smith, Miles Roty and Garret Wadosky. I like to think I got along with everyone in Jr. High and Senior High and I mainly hung out with Vince Burke, Mike Brown, Bob Brown, Rob McEwen, Rob Falgiano and assorted other fringe outcasts.

h by the end of the school year, those same people were wearing them. Also, if anyone remembers me from Reszel I had an affinity for hockey jerseys even back then and wore my Sabres jersey often. That's how I met my friend Ed Connolly, standing outside a studyhall he was the new kid in school and struck up a conversation with me about my jersey, Ed and I are still good friends today. Fast-forward 13 years and me, that kid from NT who liked wearing hockey jerseys, would design all the hockey uniforms for the Olympic games in Nagano. I also had the opportunity to work on concepts for the redesign of the Buffalo Sabres through my contacts at Reebok. Unfortunately they didn't choose any of mine as is, but they did use them as inspiration for what would later become the "buffaslug"(unfortunately).
