Eric's Story

Life I left Portland in 1996 to join the US Army as a UH-60 Helicopter crewchief (mechanic). I've been to Korea, Fort Campbell, KY, Fort Riley, KS, Giebelstadt, Germany, Fort Hood, TX, Iraq, and many other places for duty. I was in the US Navy Reserve for four years pr...Expand for more
ior to that. I've had a lot of experience and fun along the way, and now I'm married with three children (all boys). I'm currently serving a 3rd tour in Iraq (Camp Taji this time) as an Aviation Maintenance Officer (151A) in an AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter Battalion.
