Eric's Story

gonna answer all of these story questions ( yep , i'm bored!!) 1) how do you hope old friends remember you? as the guy who always tried to help others, smile, and not be too goofy while trying to live life to the fullest!! 2) I always wanted to be an ENVIROMENTAL ENGINEER when i grew up. My family thought that was an INTERESTING idea. As it turns out, they were RIGHT, AND I WILL DO THAT WHEN I GROW UP! LOL 3) How do you blow off steam? I go shopping for my family, bad day for me, and it's a jackpot for the fam. 4) What's the wildest thing you ever did in school? flipped the band directors stand upside down on the practice feild and wrapped it like a tornado. i was plastered that whole weekend with a bunch of friends, and they said that the stand almost fell on me, don't remember much, but i do remember the look on Ray J's face. LMAO , priceless!!! 5) If i am going to work somewhere, i need to have MY BLUETOOTH, BLACKBERRY, AND SATALITE RADIO to be able to deal with the day-to-day. 6) Do you have a hero? yep!! my wife, she is superwoman. she had cancer that required surgery at 24, has a brain tumor now, she takes care of our boys ( 7 & 8 ), the two girls we just adopted ( 1 & 2 ), the house stuff, all the kids extra corricular stuff, and still manages to treat me like a king. she rarely ever complains, and for all that i treat her like a queen and spoil her rotten!! she deserves it. 7) The one person from my past who i would most like to see again is MYAH LYNN FISHER, because SHE IS MY DAUGHTER WITH A WOMAN THAT I WAS IN THE NAVY WITH. THERE AREN'T ANY HARD FEELINGS BETWEEN US, SHE JUST LIVES IN IOWA AND I HAVE ONLY SEEN HER ONCE ( 1999 ). 8) sports, reality tv, pets. share your obsessions. i am a huge FLORIDA GATORS FAN. my other obsession is technology, paticularly home theater and automation, since i own a home theater and automation company. to be successful you have to stay on the cutting edge. 9) Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? this one has many answers but i will say that one of my biggest surprises is how people have turned out since high school. we have a couple of classmates still living at home, wtf. we have at least one who is a very accomplished chef that has worked and traveled all over the world. and lets not forget Andy, a successful rapper, he was always cool and quick witted, but i never saw that one coming. i am very proud of him though, it really pissed me off and i spoke out against some people that we graduated with who said some nasty stuff about him. i like to see people come up, especially a cool cat like Andy, and he stayed true to his friends. he had Steven and Jed in his videos, and he mentions lagrange several times in his music. he isn't being something he's not, he's being something that was in him the whole time, and we just missed it. i say grats to him and all the other cats who made it. to all you people still living on your high school reputation and mama and daddy's money, i say look at us now. "i had to be the one, this sh*t was my birthright" - Bubba Sparxxx 10) parent? share what you have learned from your kids. i realize now that i have kids that i was a real ass at times when i was younger. my oldest son is wonderful child, he has a condition called asbergers syndrome, but you would...Expand for more
never know it by talking or chilling with him. A.S. is a form of autism and it can be low functioning which makes them unable to function on there own, or high functioning, which is what he has. on the outside he looks and acts like a regular 8 year old, but when you talk to him and he is using terms like " architechtural design" and "structural integrity" when he talks about his latest lego design, it makes you start to wonder. he has been a tested and confirmed genius since the age of four and is now in the 4th grade since he did 1st and 2nd grade in one school year and then almost aced the CRCT test to graduate the 3rd grade. however, he does have autistic "meltdowns" and has serious issues interacting with people sometimes. he can be difficult to handle, and i look back now at some of the jacked up sh*t that i have said in the past, and i wonder how i would feel if someone said that about my son. lesson here is " don't be an ass, that person is very precious to someone, and they have feeling too" 11) what teacher would you love to see again? and why? Mr. Alise and Mrs. Hardenstein - they always believed there was strong potential in me and would love to talk to them and tell them about me and my family, and let them know how much that meant to me. 12) to be truly happy , you would be where, doing what, with whom? on an island beach, watching the sun set, with my wife. 13) what happened to your first crush? no one knows this story, till now, so here goes. my first real crush was Christy Gonzales (spelling). i saw her my first day in high school, and being that i transfered to troup county schools from lagrange city schools that year, i really knew no one. she helped me out finding my way to class that day, and for the next 3 years, i adored her from afar. on the last day of her senior year, i walked up to her in the teachers lounge at the end of B hall, and told her that i thought she was beautiful and had had a crush on her for 3 years. she smiled and said something, all i remember is her smile. i don't know where she is today, but i am sure she is doing great and still a beautiful person. now the world knows something that i have kept to myself for all these years. 14) you get one do over. what do you do differently? i would study more and smoke ALOT less pot in high school. sure i turned out great but i look at all the time i wasted being stupid, and i wonder where i could be now if had just tried. i took the S.A.T. still trippin from a shroom outing the night before, and scored a 1310. just imagine if i would have been less of a dumbass and just studied more ( and actually did my homework) 15) what about you would surprise everyone at your high school reunion? my business success has not changed me one bit in the way i treat people. my top 10 clients are worth a combined $4billion and i have done some amazing work with some very cool people. and yet i still stop on interstate to change peoples flat tires, give money to children charities, and stop and talk to people that i went to high school with, wether they were "popular" or not. money doesn't change everyone and that surprises alot of people. if you read this you have invested a fair amount of time and interest in me and i would love to do the same for you. feel free to e-mail me any time and we can catch up. stay cool!!
