Eric's Story

Life Wow, lets see. I was 10 one day, went to sleep, woke up and now Im 46. What the heck ? At 18 I joined the Navy, got married and had a child, (Rebecca). Divorced my wife and the Navy. I spent 22 years in the entertainment industry traveling way to much. Found #2 in Texas and had 2 children, Clay and Mariah. Their mother and I were together on and off for 15 years. Now we are on our last "off again" cycle. There wont be another " on again" cycle.. Mariah is almost 14, and Clay is 15. I am a single dad. I came off the road around 2004 for good. My old body couldnt take it anymore I guess. If I knew I was gonna live this long, I would have taken better care of myself ! Now its 2009 and although I miss the road, I love being home with the kids. I do miss Macon and my old friends. I wish I could have just 5 minutes of my childhood back to ...Expand for more
let my friends know how much they meant to me back then and still today. I know I was a pain to some back then, but hey we were kids. There is not 1 person from that time I havent cherished knowing through the years. While my body is about shot, my mind and memory is great !! I try to contact some old friends when we travel to Macon. This is such a great sight. I have made contact with many people here. If you take time to read this, please drop me a line to say hello. You'll make an old man happy !! Workplace I work for Michelin N.A. in Lexington SC. I am a tire builder at the plant. Im also a industrial firfighter at the plant as well as a first responder. We handle all fire and medical emergencies onsite. I really enjoy what I do. I still dabble in the entertainment bussiness a little bit, but not much. I do about 6 or 7 shows a year.
