Eric's Story
Life
Who would imagine that their life would take them there and back again (no offense to JRR Tolkein). After moving from the state of Arkansas to Kansas City, MO only to find myself back in Arkansas (Little Rock to be precise). I have had a lot of fun along the way. From going from a Razorback fan to a Chief's and (I'm not ashamed to admit) Royal's fan. To big city back to country laid back life. I have enjoyed it all. I have met great people along the way and have loved even more. There is no one love only one great love and I found that in Kansas City and she is with me now in Little Rock. will pay her back in Arkansas. Kids are on the near horizon as I realize that many of my friends are already there. What is it about parenthood? I guess I will find out soon.
Workplace
Who would imagine that a kid who wrote bad poetry and mediocre fiction would one day be responsible for over $100 million dollars on a day to day basis. Yes from a mediocre career as a checker at Kmart to a district Manager responsible for the inventory at 11 stores in the south. I get the joy of travelling to exotic locals as Greenville, MS and Lufkin, TX. Do I see this as a climax of my career? Who knows, I just know that Fatherhood sounds like a lot more fun even if the pay is a lot less.
