Eric Grant's Story
Hi! I live in Holden, MA and I am now retired. I went into the Navy in November 1959 and went to Treasure Island Naval Base in San Francisco. Then I was transferred to a destroyer out of Long Beach, CA. I did not like that so I was transferred to the US Naval School of Music in Washington, D.C. From there I was transferred to First Naval District Band in Boston, MA. I was honorably discharged in November, 1963.

no college course in computer science at that time. I have worked in the Boston area ever since except for one year in Seattle, WA. I have written computer software on mainframes, super computers, mini-computers, PCs and Macintoshes. I am enjoying retirement, doing some Web Design etc.
I met my lifetime partner, Dick, in Boston, March, 1962 and we got married in June, 2004. We are both retired and living the American dream in a two-story townhouse in an over-55 community.
