Senior Writer Eric Griffith narrowly averted a career in food service when he began started in tech publishing at Ziff-Davis over 15 years ago. He was a member of the founding staff of Windows Sources, FamilyPC (where he was also webmaster), and Access Internet Magazine. All those magazines are defunct, and it is not his fault. Eric lives in Ithaca, New York, and works from home, in his basement (his family calls him "the cellar dweller"), surrounded by a few thousand books and comics and devices that eat up electricity. In his free time he's a blogger, unpublished novelist (Publishers, e-mail him for the next great kids' fantasy novel!), and father to three Labrador Retrievers who want to play. Right now.
