Eric's Story
Life
Hmmmm, a biography of my life.
It all started a long time ago in a Galaxy far,far away...But seriously...
I was born in St Paul,Minnesota in 1962.We moved to a suburb to the southeast called St Paul Park when I was 3 1/2.
I graduated from Park High school in 1980 and worked a few jobs before joining the Army in 1983.I served 4 years in the Infantry and reached the rank of Sergeant.After my discharge,I got a job at a local Peterbilt truck dealership in the parts department.I have worked at that dealership for 18 years (as of May 2005)
In 2001 I met the woman I had been looking for all my life.We were married in September 2003.
we have no children and no plans to have any.We live in St Paul Park,Just a short distance from the home where I grew up.We both enjoy riding motorcycles and have two Harley Davidsons.
I have enjoyed hunting since I was a kid and it is still one of my main passt...Expand for more

Military
My family has a long tradition of service in the military so I always knew that it was something I wanted to (and would)do.When i got layed off from the job I was working in 1982 i figured that was a good time,so I signed up for a 4 year hitch in the Army Infantry.
I recieved my training at Ft Benning,GA
where I also attended Airborne school.
I was then assigned to the 9th Infantry Div. at Ft Lewis,WA where I served with C Co 3/47 INF and also C Co 2/60 INF. I left Ft Lewis in 1985 and served the next 2 years in Neu Ulm,West Germany with B Co 2/47 INF under the 56th Feild Artillary Cmd (Pershing)
I left the Army in Febuary 1987 as a Sergeant (E-5)
It was an experience I do not regret.Though it was not always fun,I was always proud to wear the uniform and to serve the greateast country on Earth.I met alot of good people, one of whom has become a close and lifelong friend.
