Eric's Story
Well what to say. Dont really remember a whole lot from High School days and even less from Northridge Jr High.Leaving HS felt like leaving Prison to me. It got to the point that the only time I went to school was to find out where the party's were.Needless to say that didnt really make me very prepared to be a "productive member of society" HA HA HA Fortunately for me I had a job waiting for me upon my release from HS. Unfortunately every one I worked with were Alchoholics so I fit right in.By the way if anyone reading this was ever offended by me when I was drunk at a party I apologize.That is not who I am today. So I left HS met the love of my life was going to buy a house from my mom and dad get married and live happily ever after. But I had a couple problems Alchohol cocaine and basically anything else I could get my hands on.I was a good boy at work I worked fixing wrecked cars and my uncle had a pro racing team so I worked racing when he needed me.But at the ripe old age of 21 I got myse...Expand for more
lf into a very bad car accident I fractured my skull broke my jaw broke my arm got my right ear torn off.Oh yes it was a mess I thank God the other guy only got a broken leg.Well I found out the judge did not look too kindly on my drunken driving and sent me to CA State Prison for a 9month spell. While I was gone my Best Friend my Dad passed away and all of my so called friends quit coming around so when I was released I left SFV. And moved over to Redondo Beach to a really great job I was right in the thick of Motor Racing and I loved it! Worked for a guy named Dennis Ercek we had contracts to do all of the prep and paint work for Michael Andretti's Indy cars and all of Nissan Motorsports racing prep also.Its funny I ran into a few people I had gone to Cleveland with when I was working racing a couple people at Riverside and believe it or not I even ran into someone from Cleveland at Daytona International Raceway in 1988 I didnt have time to talk much though I was working.Will write more later.
