Eric's Story
Life
I graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Economics with a special interest in Business and Government. I worked as an economic analyst for the State of illinos House of Representatives. I attended Creighton University School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate in 1993. I own my own practice in Ottawa called The Miskell Law Center, LLC which has four lawyers. We concentrate in Worker's Compensation, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense and Realestate Transactions. I married Connie Lefeber (Iowa) and have two children: Erin (10) and Hannah (7). We have fish and a Bassett Hound called Elvis. I still play the drums and guitar. Still can't sing? We live in Ottawa.
I am an appointed member of two Ottawa boards/committees: The North Ottawa Business Improvement Commission and the City of Ottawa Parks and Recreation Board. I belong to the Lions Club of Ottawa and the Ottawa Knights of Columbus.
You can watch me wiff at softball on the Tuesday Night South league and can also see me wiff at golf. Those things never change. I lost the glass and gain a few pounds. What are ya going to do?
