Eric's Story
Life
After NAHS, moved with the band to New York. Recorded music full time until ~ mid '85 (In January of '85, I had my first daughter (collaborating in that effort with Nancy Johnson)
Then, got a real job. Moved back to N.A. Worked for the Tribune for a while. Then, got a job with Homelite as a mechanic repairing outdoor power equipment (chainsaws and trimmers, etc), later purchased by John Deere. Held positions in service, sales and marketing leading to a move to South Carolina. Met my wife there. I worked with Joan in Marketing. We dated for a couple of years and got married the day Princess Diana died... 1997. Had my second daughter, Erin on 11/11/99. Beautiful and fun. Great kid. Left John Deere and went to work for Fedders Appliances in Illinois as Vice President, Marketing. Then moved back ...Expand for more
to South Carolina and again worked with outdoor products for TTi, the company that manufactures Ryobi and Ridgid Power Tools (sold through The Home Depot). That really cool ryobi Pressure Washer at Home depot is my project. Go buy one, only $499!
Living in Anderson SC now and loving it. We bought a new home on Cobbs Glen golf course. I stink at golf, but it's a nice view. I love boating on lake Hartwell and working on my old Chrysler (same model I drove when I was 16, only this one is rebuilt to go fast)
My first daughter, Janie is currently attending College in Vermont. She's had more school than me. I'm very proud. My mother and sister still live in the house I grew up in across the street from Burger King in NA.
