Eric's Story
Currently retired and living in Mechanicsville, Virginia, but soon to be moving to New Mexico. After a stint in the Coast Guard (been out so long that one of the ships served on is a museum in the Baltimore Harbor). After the military I worked for the Florida Department of Corrections, the Department of Health and Rehabilitative services and, finished up with nearly 30 years at the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Both kids are long out of the house, most of my time is spent figuring out how to irritate the kids by spoiling my grandchildren.
Breaking ground on "Bog Ranch West" in Mountainair, New Mexico and hope to be able to relocate in mid-2026. A retirement in the high desert plateau of New Mexico is a fitting punctuation for a busy life.
Retirement got boring so I started a hobby that has turned into a company. Providing drone services to folks in Virginia, New Mexico, and Florida, has been a lot of fun and kept me out of trouble…..sort of.
