Marital Status
I was married for nearly ten years. We met at work, October 1989. We married October 1992. We separated September 1997. The divorce became final December 2001. No children. I have been single since December 2001.

My Job
I currently work at the Defense Distribution Center Headquarters (DDC) in New Cumberland, PA, located at the former site of the New Cumberland Army Depot. I am a division chief and supervisor of the IT Operations Support Division under the Information Operations Directorate, which includes an Information Assurance team (firewalls, network security, etc.), a Telecommunications Support team, and a third team which supports all PC and server support issues. rovides technical IT support to approximately 30 locations worldwide, from Japan and the Pacific Rim to Europe. My position requires travel for about a third of the year, including all of our locations. For obvious DoD reasons, I have regular trips to the DC beltway, but I do get to go to places like Hawaii, California (San Francisco Bay area, San Diego, Barstow), Utah, Seattle, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Germany, and Italy. The work is very diverse, I'm never bored, I get to travel to interesting places, I meet new people regularly, and I never stay caught up with e-mail. The job is very stressful, but I wouldn't like it as much any other way - with the stress comes a lot of challenges, $$$, and many upward mobility opportunities.
