Eric's Story
Life
After leaving Oak Lawn in 95 to join the Air Force, I was fianally stationed at Luke AFB outside Phoenix AZ from 95-98. During my time there I was an F-16 mechanic, and I can truly say that I loved what I did and still miss it very much. 6 months before getting out of the service I married Christa Cerrentano. ad two great kids Evan and Ella. Over the years I've worked for Continental Airlines until 9/11 as a line mechanic, then for Mesa Airlines where I moved quickly through the ranks, my last position with them was a Station Aircraft Maintenance Manager. I'm now working for United Airlines in another city as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor. I needed to leave Mesa and step back for a while to raise my kids before I became one of those work 24/7 people. Now that we are finally settled in I hope we won't ever have to move again. Once was more than enough.
