Eric's Story
Life
All that I have and all that I am that is good is due to Jesus Christ and His work in me.
I escaped from Marysville to the Navy in '84. I spent six years in the Navy, graduating from Naval Nuclear Power School. I got out in '90 and went to college in the DC area. Got the fastest electrical engineering degree I could and got married. Have two kids. Been married since 1990.
Currently I work as a Consulting Engineer for Cisco Systems.
I finished grad school with an MS in Internet Engineering. I passed the CCIE lab exam in Apr 08 (CCIE#20503)
I have five dogs, three golden retrievers, an english springer spaniel, and a dalmation. Two of them are obedience champions. My wife trains them.
My son is getting ready to finish 8th grade (he is 12). My daughter is finishing up fifth grade. They are both good kids. My children are also obedience champions.

y live in the Virginia Tidewater area. With the tax/financial situation that California is in, I doubt I will ever live there again.
Currently studying wireless networking, network security and working on my proficiency with first century greek. I think I will spend two years with the greek and then move on to ancient hebrew. These ancient languages are like potato chips, you just can't have one ;-) As an engineer it gives me an opportunity to exercise another part of my brain. All part of my plan to work as an engineer into my 80's (God willing). I don't think retirement is in the plan for me. The older I get the less interested I am in retiring.
No one is more surprised that a nasty, angry, profane, kid from West Linda is where he is today. Naked I came into this world and naked I will return, the Lord gives and the Lord takes away...Blessed be the name of the Lord.
