Erik's Story
Life
Since graduation...
I attended Brigham Young University (BYU) for a year, then served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wisconsin (1990 - 1992).
I got married in 1993 (Julie).
I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1995 with a BA in broadcast communications, then worked for two years as a television news anchor and reporter in Lubbock, TX (1995 - 1997).
I returned to BYU and earned an MBA...Expand for more
in 1999.
I worked in marketing and sales for a software company, Candle Corporation, in Los Angeles beginning in 1999 and transferred to Dallas in 2000. In 2002, I left Candle and took a sales manager position with another software company, BEA Systems, also in Dallas.
I have 5 children: Amanda (1994), Ashley (1996), Ryan (1998), Jacob (2000) and Shawn (2004). Family is very important to Julie and I, and our children bring us the greatest joy.
