Erik's Story
After Grad, I moved to AZ. For those that knew me, knew I left every summer. I tried college but just didn't have the drive to go to school and work full time. I got married in 83 to a real sweetie. We had five children together. Shortly after I got married I joined the Air Force. The Air Force sent us to Mountain Home ID. Most of my 23 years of service (Air Force and ANG) were spent in SW Idaho. I had some real good assignments, deployments, and temporary duties. Shortly after I put in my retire paperwork my wife put in hers (from me). We now live about a block apart, It works. I started my next career as an elevator...Expand for more
constructor (May 07). Which was going pretty good until I got laid off in Nov 09. However that gave me more time for skiing. I think I had over 30 days on the snow that year. In Mar of 2010 I started with the Census Bureau, part time, had a great time. Then came the summer of 2011, I took off on my motorcycle for what turned into a 10077 mile trip!!!! If you want to know more on that just ask. Now it is 2013 and I am back building elevators. 2015, I just went to see my first Grand baby. She has my heart.
