Erin's Story

Life We have three children from my first marriage, a daughter, Theresa and two sons, James and Kevin and a stepson, Ron from my current marriage. We have three, grandchildren, Elijah, age 6 and Savannah, age 2, Cameron, age 1, and another due in September. I have been married to my present husband, Ron for 19 years. We live on 4.14 acres in Philomath, Oregon. I am retired from the U S Postal Service after 22 years. Now a certified medical assistant and medical coder. I am heading back to school this summer to work towards a BA in Social Services. Ron is a retired Benton County Sheriff deputy. We love spending time with our kids, grand kids and camping. I like to sew, quilt, tole paint, and garden. We have a mini horse, two dogs, six cats, a bird, and a tadpole. Some belong to the kids and grand kids. I am still an ANAHEIM ANGELS fan! They will never be the LA Angels to me! For those of you who remember, I have four brothers and four...Expand for more
sisters. I think we were the second largest family next to the Karcher family with their 12 kids. Eric was a Navy corpsman in Viet Nam and is now a retired RN. Robin lives in Portland, OR. Bridget lives in Santa Ana and is putting up a heroic battle against breast cancer and so far is winning. Kathy also lives in Portland, OR and works for Oregon State Social Services, Priscilla, lives about 4 miles from me and works as an accountant, Kevin is a cabinet maker, also living in Portland, OR. Ron lives in New Jersey, and Chris also lives in Portland, OR. I don't know what the draw is to the big city of Portland, but I prefer living way out here in the countryside. My dad was killed in an automobile accident while traveling with Eric in the Northwest Territory in May, 2001 and my mom passed away in May of 2003. They always enjoyed having our friends over. They were kind of "Mom and Dad" to all of our friends so some of you may remember them.
