Erin's Story
Let's see . . . Quickie version: I've been busy since school. I from Sacramento to Memphis in 1993. Met a 6'9 ironworker from Georgia and went to welding school and became certified. We didn't work out but I took a job with a company out of Memphis that specialized in industrial pipe construction/installation. We mostly worked on fuel farms so I've had the bejesus scared out of me a few times. LOL Got tired of that, moved back to Sac in 1997 where I got a good job with a land acquisition company. Got tired of that (seeing a trend?) so I went to school again and became a certified massage therapist. Went to work for a busy chiropractic office in Roseville and loved it (tho doing 16 massages a day gets tiring) but tore my knee apart and had to find something new. Ended up in Rogue River, Oregon where my parents and I took a job managing/running an upscale RV resort on the river. Got tired of that...so back to school I went. Halfway to my MSN got tired of that....so I changed my major to nursing (which pretty much started me back to square one) and LOVE IT!!! I work as a regis...Expand for more
tered nurse in critical care and hope to end up at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle where they have the most incredible critical care program (fingers crossed). Will continue my education while I work and plan to quit with my MSN so that I'll have more options including teaching, but not before I get my forensic nursing classes in. LOL Good God I'll be drawing social security before I get it all done! Ah well, it was either that or do the movie star thing but who wants to work that hard? ha
Other than that, not married/never been. No children but 2 dogs (they are more like my kids than most people's kids). I do have an incredible neice who just turned 16. Funny...all this education and I still can't figure out where all the time went or how I got so old! LOL I am currently living in Lakeland, Georgia where I bought a little house with a huge yard that backs up to the woods. Don't like the snakes, don't like the gators, but love the thunderstorms.
