Erin's Story
Life
Things are going well in my life. My family is now complete with three children: Michael, 10, Gabriel, 7, and Caitlin, 4. Erich has been the best husband God could've given me, and my children are a blessing unlike any other. We are now finally in our own home, and I love it! It's nothing fancy, but I feel more comfortable here than anywhere else I've ever been.
After 3 years of home-schooling, I made the very hard decision to send my boys back to public school this year. They are having fun riding the bus with the friends they've made since we moved in, and Catie's behavior has improved now that she has some "one-on-one" time with mommy. She goes to EHS 2x a week for pre-school (remember those child development classes?) and she absolutely loves it! It took some time to adjust, but I am finally regaining some of my sanity now that I have the time to take care of my house. I still recommend home-schooling for anyone in a position to try it.
This spring marked 2 years since I started my own business, Erin Rose Custom Jewelry. In my first 4 months, I sold over 50 pieces of jewelry, all carefully handcrafted by me using sterling silver, Swarovski crystal, and freshwater pearls. If you're interested, my website is erinrosecustomjewelry dot com.
I hope you're all happy in whatever you are doing, and may God fill your lives with all the blessings you deserve.

exciting way He helped me turn my (very) misguided life around.
School
Well, I had way too many crushes to list. I think school was more of a social experience than anything else. You know that saying "I wish I had known then what I know now"? Well that is how I feel. I miss getting to see my friends everyday, but I am so glad that I am past that stage of my life. I see teenagers now, how immature and superficial they are, and I ask myself "was I really like that?" Duh! I used to get so stressed out over what I was going to wear, but I wonder if anyone even remembers! I think about how cruel kids can be in school, myself included, and it makes me want to never let my kids out of the house!
College
Hmmmm...what do I remember from my 2 months in college? I had a very traumatic experience between high school and college that had really affected me, so even when I was in class, I still wasn't really there. I didn't feel like I connected with anyone so I didn't spend much time on campus other than during classes. My grades dropped considerably and I decided I wasn't ready for the demands of college work. Calculus was a lot harded than I was prepared for, but I loved my Chemistry and English Comp. classes. I feel bad because I wasted the scholarship I had earned, when it could have gone to someone else. At least I only used it for one term! Maybe someday I'll go back to school. After experiencing life with three kids, I think college work will seem a lot easier.
