Erin's Story
Life
After graduating High School, I attended Valparaiso University and graduated in 1991 with a degree in Accounting. There I met my husband, Charles L. Garrett Jr. and we were married in September 1992. I worked for 5 years as an auditor for Arthur Andersen in Chicago. After promoting to Manager in the fall of 1996, I left Arthur Andersen to work for Household International as a Accounting Research Consultant. In the fall of 1997, my husband and I were transferred to the Detroit, Michigan area where he was handling the Ford Motor Company account for US Steel. In January 1999, my husband left US Steel to work for Pfizer Inc. In September 2000, my position with Ameritech was eliminated due SBC purchasing them. I found out a week later that I was expecting our first child and decided to become a stay at home mom. Our daughter Alexa was born in April 2001 and we had a son Charlie born in December 2003. In the summer of 2004 my husband took a position with Pfizer at their headquarters in NYC. We moved to Milford, Connecticut at that time. I still enjoy staying home with the kids and have added a business as a Creative Memories Consultant... direct selling photo preservation supplies.
