Life There's not much to tell- though my life is invariably hectic and fun-filled, I usually find myself at a loss to describe my existance in a pre-set number of meaningful words. However, I'll give it a shot. At present I'm working on my master's degree in English at the University of Connecticut- I finally found my way to the east coast, where people are blessedly straightforward. Don't believe all you hear about east coast nasties- they are as mythologized as the "evil" French. I love it here- a lot more than I enjoyed living in France, and needless to say more than I enjoyed living in the bar-infested cultural cesspool that is the glorified swamp of Superior, WI. Living in Connecticut is on some kind of par with living in England. The setup is similar, and the people are lovely. I've pretty much been all over the place since Superior and Northfield- I've moved far more than I care to reflect on, and have still managed to aquire a lot more crap than I will ever need. I can't seem to downsize enough. Mayhap that's because I'm a pack rat extraordinaire. Much to the shock of my grandparents' and parents' friends (who invariably ask me whenever I see them) I've managed to stay single thus far (though strangely I always find myself having some sort of significant other, no matter what I do). Sorry to disappoint those with whom I have running bets regarding my marriage status. You're still losing those wagers. However, I have an announcement to add here.
