Erin's Story
Life
After leaving college a semester from getting my BA I moved back to the Bay Area where I (mostly)grew up. I got into retail and worked for major and specialty retailers like Emporium, Mervyn's, Pottery Barn and J.Crew, working my way into senior management. I currently work for Ross Stores in their corporate office in Pleasanton, Ca. I have a 4 and a half year old little girl with my second husband, who was a widower like myself. I lost my precious Scot in May of 2000. I met my new husband in a support group and as our friendship blossomed, magically, we fell in love. We believe that our late spouses brought us together. He is the most amazing husband, friend and lover. Having our daughter has been a miracle for us and we love her to pieces!!
I keep busy with church groups, family and friends. I sti...Expand for more
ll love clothes and have made both husbands nuts with my insane shoe and handbag collections not to mention all the Longaberger baskets!
I pray that all of my fellow classmates are experiencing joy and deep peace.
School
In elementary school I suffered the most embarrassing moment of my life to date when (I believe) Jim Atwood and Chris Sandburg untied my halter top on the last day of school as we cleaned out our desks. Mr. Strudley tried to make the best of a bad situation but I truly hope those rascals got their karma for that one! Otherwise I enjoyed my best friends, Pam, Karina and Denise among them.
In high school I was fortunate to be involved in most aspects of student life.
I have fond memories of those greasy fries at the Shady Nook and all the colorful characters that made up Laytonville.
