Erma's Story
I am married to James Mansfield and I am a grandmother of 4. I had a baby before I even graduated from high school that baby is now 29 and his name is Mark. I have been married 9years going on 10 years. However we have been together 14 years. I also have a daughter Her name is Shannon I had her in 1984. She is 25 now. I did not get to finish college or go into the military but however I raised a family by myself until I married my current husband. The names of my grandchilderen are Anthony Mark, Ashley Helen. of them are Mark's. I worked as a manager untill I had to retire because I had to have back surgery. I had a Certificate as a nurses aide and I was State Certified. Iworked in Nursing homes, fast food joints, gas stations, and factories. So that I could take care of my family. I raised my kids on my own without their fathers and without a husband. I have 3 years of college in Business and I can do Accounting better than most Accountants. I raised my son and was able to graduate with my class in 1982. I would not change nothing in my adult life because my kids were my adult life.
