Ernest's Story
Life
It's constantly changing and we are growing, or we are dead.
I reinvented my life as a writer - so far not fully successful. I have been published. I can add that to by obit after a longer, fuller, and happier life.
I'm planning to complete a novel this year and a number of short stories - most of them humorous. Even more exciting, I'm working on a manuscript with a fellow classmate.
It took 65 years to find my twin.
Life keeps getting better every year.
I offer a symbolic toast to all of our classmates that have joined the parade before us.
I feed, neuter and care for five cats, outside. They were either born here or adopted my home as theirs. Some urban skunks and possums take advantage of my hospitatlity.
My Job
I retired! My Independance Day was July the Third, 2002. Absolutely no regrets. Life just keeps getting better everyday.
My Interests

rley-Davidson motorcycle. Somehow, I have acquired some sense, since high school. A combination of drinking and driving led me to graduation on crutches. I drive more sensibly. I never drive a car, unless it is an absolute necessity.
In 2007, I planned for an operation on a torn rotator cuff: interrupted by open-heart surgery to by-pass three of my four arteries and replace my aortic valve with a bovine pericardiam: I now look at lawns with a different viewpoint.
For 2009, I'm in tip-top shape and guaranteed for 100,000 miles.
If you Google my name, you'll find me as a contact for the World Pantheist Movement. In 1998 I found others with my beliefs, throughout the World, quelling the rumors that I was from another planet.
Isn't it amazing how much life changes us? As John Lennon said: "Life happens to us while we are making other plans."
I hope the life that happens to "YOU" is the greatest in the history of the World.
