Ernestine's Story
Life
After high school I attended Howard University's College of Fine Arts. During my last year at Howard I married James who was in the Air Force. We adopted a little girl Amanda in 1988, she is now twenty-two. James passed away in 1999. We had a great life together and I my daughter and I have great memories. ime with my daughter and to spend more time with my mother.
In 2008 my mother passed away and my brother who also attended Ballou moved to Arizona. My daughter and I spent some time with him during the Christmas last year. We got to see Arizona, a nice place to visit.
I had to get out of the house so I am working part-time for Fairfax County Public Schools. I do get to meet a lot of people from different countries.
