Esther's Story
While earning my baccalaureate degree, I lived in Parks Tower, was very active in the Black Student Union, sang in the UT Gospel Choir, counseled students who had transitional difficulties from high school to college academic expectations and campus life during my tenure as a Peer Counselor in the Student Development Program, pledged the Que-T interest group to the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and enjoyed attending Greek shows and college sporting events.

each director at church, but, I still plan and implement special projects such as Youth Recognition Day or host the monthly senior citizen luncheon at the church.
I'd like to share that I have a once in a lifetime opportunity to sing at Carnegie Hall in 2010. I invite persons like Denise Releford, Pearline Jackson, and Mary Jo Carrigan to join the David Carter Symphonic Choir this year. Rehearsals for the new season will resume in the basement of Third Baptist Church on Monday nights at 7:00pm beginning the last Monday of August.
