Eugene's Story
Hello Everyone,
It is January 9, 2008. It is definitely time to update my "story" here. I graduated with my Master's degree this past October. I am still single (and looking). Unfortunately, Yuma, AZ does not have much in terms of dating options. I am still a Range Manager (government employee) working aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, where I also ended my active-duty military career. I am now a non-active, Marine reservist (I have no formal military obligations, but do "drill" from time to time whenever I like). While I really like Yuma and my current job, I am looking for employment elsewhere to help improve my personal life. I will keep you posted if I leave Yuma. Please feel free to email me anytime at gene.kellar at the gmail website. I would love to hear from old friends! I hope life is treating you well!

Life
Hello All,
I have been a "Classmates" member for a couple of years, but I never posted a bio. It is November 1, 2005. I returned this past December from my second combat tour to Iraq in as many years. This past April I got out of the Marine Corps after 11 years. I enlisted in April 1994 and was later commissioned as an officer in 2001 after graduating Florida State University under a Marine Officer Program. I dual-majored in History and Geography while at FSU. I served as an Air Traffic Control Officer stationed in Yuma, Arizona. I was married for four years but divorced in Octob...Expand for more
er of 2003. Unfortunately, deployment life as an active-duty Marine lost me my wife. I have no children...but do have two cats! I live alone in my house in Yuma. The weather here is awesome! Having just returned from a year deployment, I am single and very much looking. I would love to hear from friends anytime. Respond here if you would like my email address. I will be home for the Holidays. I am currently enjoying life as a government employee working on the same base where I was stationed in Yuma. I desire very much to go back to school and eventually run for public office. Who knows what the tide will bring. I look forward to hearing from anyone that reads this message. Hope to see you during the Holidays...

Hello All,
It is now March 11, 2005. I am happy to update my profile with some new news. I am getting out of the Marines and accepting a management position with Frito Lay in Modesto, California. I tried to find work in Indiana, but I had no luck. Frito Lay offered me a wonderful salary and will also pay for my Master's Degree. I plan on attending school again and earning an MBA. I miss Indiana, but will be visiting the 3rd week of April for about a week. I would love to hear from anyone. I will keep you updated as I begin my move. My first day of work in Modesto will be May 1st. ******I worked in Modesto for four months before returning to Yuma as a gov't employee!
