Eugene's Story
Life
since I left the service I traveled around a lot.I worked construction through the south and D.C.area inthe70's.I met and married a girl from Oklahoma in 1976.We moved back to her home town where we had a child.I also obtained a assoc degree in forestry.UNFORTUNATELY this ended in divorce.I then moved back to Connecticut and tried to settle down.I met my second wife J.E. in the late 80's and we were married 10 years ago.Her parents moved to Arizona and we followed there after. From here we vacationed around the Southwest which we love so much.It is now 2007 and by now my wife's parents have passed away so now it is pretty much me and my wife Jessy. ng the money I had in the bank. .While I was in Vietnam he was heavy in drugs,as he still is to day. I have tried to get in touch with guys I was in the service with but it would appear that some do not want to hear from me because my emails and phone calls go unanswered. My hero was and still is Gene Autry. He was always fair and treated everyone with respect.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Uwe Kugler, because He was someone I could always look up to.I would love to talk to more then anything.
The one thing I would do over would have been to stay in the Army and stay in Vietnam.
