Eva 's Story

Life Hi, Believe it or not, I became an actor! Then again, you may not be surprised. I do theatre, movies, commercials, industrials, comedy and anything else I can get away with. Following Sac Hi (30 days later) I got married. A year later I had a darling little girl then proceeded to have 6 more of the best kids a mother can be proud of! I did the traditional follow-your-husband-around thing. We moved from Sac to Utah (gorgeous country) and back. I got earthy and gave birth to two babies at home. That was awesome! But things fell apart after 13 yrs of marriage and the loss of a child. I found myself alone with a passel of kids (he wasn't involved) and then the car accident that severely injured child #3. I grew up quickly (I had not allowed myself to do so prior to that). --One son sustained a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) of which I am now an expert. He will always be disabled however he is now married.-- Next to raising my kids, I advocated for other children with special needs getting their needs met n school districts (I still do that if you or anyone you know need help.) Acting became my sport, my escape from reality, and later a great talent and the one thing I am more passionate about than anything else I can think of. A director once asked me how important acting is to me. I answered, "I would rather act than breathe." I offered to do stand-up comedy at the reunion --- as my gift of entertain...Expand for more
ment to you all, as my classmates were more family to me than my biological family --- but I was told that if I did something everyone else would want to do something. That sounds like a whole 'nuther event! Steve can show us how to glaze a window, Paul can construct a windmill for us, and John can teach us high school math! Wow! I'll bet you are all chomping at the bit for that one!!! ;-) Tell you what, if you ever want to see one of my shows or gigs, email me and I'll see if I can comp you in or at least get you a discount! You are the best memories of my childhood. I want to repay you for your friendship and kindness!! The kids are all grown now. I have grandkids popping up all over! The children's father passed away some years after our divorce. I never remarried. Probably scared them all off with my independent attitude. I can repair my own car . . . I have trouble finding it in a parking lot but at least I know it runs!!!! Currently I am also a marketing coordinator for a major cell phone company. I included photos of my family. I have 6 grandkids now. When you have six kids (2 girls 4 boys), what can you expect??? As many of you know, grandkids are the BEST part of life! I look forward to hearing from you. My border collie-mix Kobi, my lhassa apso mix Emmy (yep, named for the Emmy Awards, and I would love to see you sometime. Drop me a line! I would love to catch up with you!!! Eva (Eva Kim)
