Eva's Story
Life
The January after graduation, I joined the Air Force. Six weeks of boot camp at Lakland AFB TX, followed by eleven weeks of job specific technical training at Sheppard AFB TX, where I got engaged to a boy from Illinois,we have recently parted ways because he is stationed in Barksdale AFB in LA,and the situation became too difficult. Now, I'm stationd at Minot North Dakota, and I work in weapons maintenance (fun stuff). I don't like minot too much it's very cold, I miss Rio, but mostly I just miss california in general. se(which is more than I can say for my brother), I earn a living, have friends that are so much more like family, and the support of everyone at home. I hope to deploy in the next year or so. Don't worry, the only place they send my carreer feild is Diago Garcia in Guam. I alsohope to start classes in the fall at the univesity they have up here. That will be fun to laern something that has nothing to do with my military training for a change. So if you've gotten this far & still give a crap, send me a message, it would be cool to here from someone I haven't talked to in a while.
