Eva's Story
Life
I retired July 1, 2000 from the National Education Association. I have opened a Consultant business (Organization Resources)- so I am still working. Enjoying my life as I always have.
Workplace
Immediately after High School I skated in the Roller Derby.
I have worked as a Administrative Assistant for the California State Department of Agriculture and for the San Juan Unified School District.
I became a union representative for the Calfiornia School Employees Association and was promoted to Director of the Sacramento Field Office, then to the position of Director of Field Operations/Deputy Exe...Expand for more
cutive Director for the State Association.
I then worked for the National Education Association and represented public school employees throughout the nation as well as served as a consultant to the State President and the State Executive Director in various states in their efforts to improve public education in their respective states.
I retired from the National Education Association in July 2001 and opened my own consulting business. My largest client currently is the National Education Association where I assist them each year in their Affirmative Action UniServ Intern Program held in Washington D.C.
